Matt Teeter
Research Scientist & Business Manager,
Trent Water Quality Centre

Bio
Matt is a postdoctoral researcher, the business manager and research scientist specializing in light stable isotopes at Trent University's centralized mass spectrometry facility, the WQC. Much of his time is dedicated to maintaining the IRMS instruments at the WQC, but Matt is also currently working on a project related to using stable isotopes to understand the geographic origins of animal remains recovered from the Centre Block of Parliament in Ottawa. Outside of the lab, Matt enjoys golfing, cheering on his beloved Montreal Canadiens (les Habitants as he calls them), and spending time with his family including his wife Jenn, their son Max, and their bagel (half beagle half basset) Winston. Although Matt isn’t a frequent traveller, he enjoys visiting Prince Edward Island in the summer to see Jenn’s family. With so many new movies on the rise and a love for action/Sci-Fi films, Matt is most looking forward to Spaceballs 2, Avengers Doomsday, as well as new seasons of Hell’s Kitchen. Bio by Dawn Bari.
